Album of twelve albumen prints of the Château de Blois, France, the residence of the French kings in the late fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. After the Bourbon restoration in 1817, interest in the Loire valley château was renewed. Blois was restored by Félix Duban in 1845. These photos show six exterior views of the château, five interior views of the thirteenth-sixteenth century part of the château, and one of Blois from the Loire river.
